Mr David Holstead

Governor

David is married with two children, one of whom attends Church Lawton School.

He works as a prison officer and mainly deals with vulnerable prisoners, acting as a key worker for these individuals, many of whom are autistic.

In his spare time, David enjoys going to the gym and teaching Taekwondo, along with charity work as a trustee and treasurer with Fighting for Autism, a charity that raises autism awareness through martial arts,

David previously served on the Board as an elected parent governor and has now been appointed as a co-opted governor where he holds responsibility for health and safety matters. David is extremely passionate about Church Lawton being a safe and secure school for both staff and pupils.
