Governor

Michelle is an appointed Parent Governor of the Church Lawton School Local Committee. 

Michelle is married with two children, her youngest son joined Church Lawton in September 2022. 

Michelle has 19 years’ experience in the education system. She started off her career as a mainstream early year and KS1 teacher, and after 3 years completed additional qualifications in the field of special educational needs. Michelle is currently working for an inclusion team as a specialist teacher for deaf children from birth-19 years of age. During her time within the inclusion department, she has also carried out a specialist teacher role within the Autism team.  

Michelle is passionate about ensuring the vision of Church Lawton School continues and develops.
